People are always coming to ask Mawlānā to save them from black magic. He asks why they believe more in this magic than in Allāh Almighty. They should ask forgiveness from their Lord and return to Him, then no black magic, shayṭānic magic can touch them.
Be a Simple Servant
Aug15 2010 English 39min
Allāh ﷻ is inviting us to leave the world of material possessions and enter His ﷻ Heavenly Realms. Give the gold of dunyā and take the endless Heavenly treasures you are being offered. Don’t fight each other, fight devils and evil. In that lies your honour.
Yaḥsabūna Annahum Yuḥsinūna Ṣun‘an (18:104)
Aug13 2010 English 32min
All people are servants, some good and some bad. The bad ones serve their egos and shayṭān but they think they are doing good – "yaḥsabūna annahum yuḥsinūna ṣun‘an" (18:104). Ramaḍān has come to clean the ego. After it is over don’t go back to being dirty. Be clean ones, follow the Prophet ﷺ and serve Allāh ﷻ.
Smile, Don’t Worry
Aug10 2010 English 29min
Mawlānā tells the Salafī ‘ulamā’ not to look so angry. They either scare people away or make them sleep. Give good news, give hope to the people. Allāh wants His servants to love Him. Love and give generously as the Prophet ﷺ did.
Was the Prophet ﷺ Ever Tired?
Aug09 2010 English 35min
No! Says Mawlānā, because if you are living and working for Allāh you never tire. He opens the month of Ramaḍān by advising the Muslim Sulṭāns and Kings to work for Allāh not for shayṭān. He criticizes the Sulṭān of Brunei for ending the public celebration of Mawlid.
Declare War Against Shayṭān
Aug08 2010 English 39min
Whoever is asking for enjoyment with material things, are ignorant, no mind creatures. Even sitting on heaps of diamonds and gold, you are feeling unhappy. Don't be cheated! Whole treasures on Earth have no value. Shayṭān is teaching you to be greedy and always asking more material. Leave that and ask for heavenly aspects; they are ever-ending. Prophets, messengers, heavenly advisors and holy books have come to warn you. You must declare war against shayṭān and his agents and followers.
A Crying Sun
Aug07 2010 English 44min
Mawlānā recites the āyah (36:13) – “and present for them an example” to teach man about his life. Everyday Allāh ﷻ gives the example of the sun, rising laughing, reaching perfection, and then setting crying. Man’s life is the same. So leave dunyā and its fashions. Think about the reality of life.
Diving Through Unseen Worlds
Aug06 2010 English 33min
Don’t waste your life chasing dunyā like a dog after a rabbit. Close your eyes and open the eyes of your heart. Mawlānā speaks about ‘murāqabah’ and ‘mushāhadah’.
The Meaning of ‘Renaissance’
Aug05 2010 English 35min
The Salafīyūn want to be modern and western in their clothing and in their thinking and they call the Ṣūfīs fanatics because they make Dhikr and because they are old fashioned. They want a ‘Renaissance’ for Islām. But Renaissance means no respect for the elders and the past. No respect, no Islām. Mawlānā shows the difference between Tawqīr and Takbīr.
Heavenly Courses
Aug04 2010 English 39min
The Muslim world should be ashamed for giving priority to Western courses in their universities and leaving the heavenly courses delivered by the Qur’ān. They leave teaching about the Creator and teach instead about the Big Bang.
Heavenly Respect and Heavenly Love
Aug03 2010 English 33min
The summary of what all the Prophets and Messengers have been trying to teach is heavenly respect and heavenly love. O wahhabi people are you doing that? There is no other aim of this life. Warning all Nations to lead their people to respect and love oceans, not to enmity oceans.
One Voice from Heavens
Aug02 2010 English 41min
Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and keep adab with your Creator. Mankind has passed the limits. This is a warning. Shaytan is teaching people the secrets of technology in order to make them feel secure in going against heavenly orders. But all it takes is one voice like thunder from heavens and everything will be like coal.
Wa-btaghū Ilayhi l-Wasīlah (5:35)
Aug01 2010 English 39min
Mawlānā asks two questions – How can a person be one of the ones Allāh ﷻ praises and can one reach this level by himself? And he answers – by pleasing Allāh ﷻ and being pleased with Him ﷻ. And, no, they need a means, a wasīlah, to reach the divine grants. He tells the story of Sayyidunā Aḥmad al-Badawī.
Fresh Food
Jul31 2010 English
The Lord Almighty never gives His servants old food. Food for the body and for the soul always comes fresh and new. Take from the Holy Qur’an fresh every day. Every Jumu’a a different divine feast. Try to renew yourself daily. Sayyidatina Maryam never had to ask but she received fresh food every day. The disciples of Isa (as) felt they did have to ask for a table spread from Heaven. This was the difference in their stations.
Who Is the Addressed One?
Jul29 2010 English 36min
Islāmic beliefs are based on giving the highest respect to the Seal of Prophets ﷺ. Who was addressed in Allāh’s ﷻ Divine Presence? Allāh ﷻ addressed him ﷺ, saying: “As-Salāmu ‘alayka ayyuhā n-nabī.” Those greedy for the honour Allāh ﷻ grants him ﷺ must understand at least this through every two raka‘āt that they pray.
Lan Yufliḥūn
Jul28 2010 English 40min
We say we don’t need heavenly lights, we have technology. Instead of our Creator we say ‘Nature’ – a name with no reality. Two kinds of people: lā yufliḥūn – those who are not successful, and lan yufliḥūn – those who will never be successful. The West is of the first kind because they have the sense to be attracted to the East. The Eastern people are of the second kind because they only want what is found where the lights of the sun set.
A Heavenly Foundation
Jul27 2010 English 44min
Man has been honored and given responsibility, unlike animals. His life must be based on the heavenly foundation that every prophet came to teach. Man must do as the Prophet did and not imitate the unbelievers.
We Know Nothing
Jul26 2010 English 32min
Common people are in darkness. Real ulama have heavenly light and can show the way from darkness to light. Those who claim they are salafiyun must bring their proof. What distinguishes them from others? Can they bring knowledge to give satisfaction to the hearts of believers and teach them the real aim of their creation?
